ABOUT

Michael Madden was apprenticed in London to master decorator Len Pardon, later gaining a Masters’ degree at UEL and a higher diploma in restoration at the City and Guilds of London Art School.

He has contributed work to famous buildings such as the Ritz, the Sultan of Oman’s Palace, Bridgewater House, Sion College, The London Coliseum, St Bartholomew the Great Church Smithfield, Christchurch Spitalfields, and the Natural History Museum, among others.  He has worked with architects, public bodies and other restorers and
for private clients on figurative and decorative schemes including carving/sculpture, restoration and period style wall decorations.

Over the past two decades he has also built up a personal portfolio of work for sale, ranging from traditional figurative work to environmental and social subjects.
